From singing solos in church and performing in various shows at the famous Karamu House Theater in Cleveland , Ohio as a child and adolescence; Thessalonian has learned and watched some of the greatest singers and performers from the greater Cleveland area and other states as well. While attending the Ohio State University, Thessalonian studied music theory, fine arts and also took classical voice lessons at "The Ohio University" school of music. This allowed her the opprotunity to be a lead vocalist on the ''Black Capitals College Tour" where she performed songs in Atlanta, Washington DC and many other cities and states.
Entertainer
In early 2006 Thessalonian released her first solo project which sold out swiftly. In 2012 Thessalonian moved across the country to Las Vegas, Nevada where she graced each stage with her very own presence, and persona while moving audiences with her vocal abilities. Starting to hone in on her craft, Thessalonian started creating new Music in the studio as a solo artist. Thessalonian also began singing in one of the upcoming R&B girl groups in Las Vegas, Nevada. Singing at festivals and various casinos on and around the Las Vegas strip. Thessalonian continues to work toward her dreams as a singer, songwriter and overall artist. Today, she can be seen on the stage live, behind the scenes writing, recording in the studio and supporting the creative arts community.
Inspirationalist
Thessalonian is focused on the journey to becoming, loving and shining her God given light from within. Currently Thessalonian has two singles out. "Changing" & "Be Loved" are available on all digital streaming media sites such as itunes, google play, amazon etc. Thessalonian has been casted in various stage plays such as "Momma Don't Cry" by Talia Moore, "Got a good woman" By Michael Matthews, "Aida" at the Karamu House, "Your Love is Killing Me" by Hosea Harris where she co wrote and performed one of the soundtracks to the stage production. Thessalonian's single "Changing" was also featured in its first independent film titled "Imprints" Written by Mel Yarbrough that released in August of 2018. In these stage productions, Thessalonian was cast for lead or supporting roles.
Thessalonian believes in order to become our best self, we must be challenged. Every opportunity to perform is a challenge to inspire, empower and become better.
